Is evangelism for everyone-Conclusion to heaven and hell

Who should evangelize?

Concluding on the heaven and hell series..
One of the main reasons for me to do some research on this topic is because my grandfather visited heaven multiple times and has even written a book about it, "Insight into heaven." I have never doubted the existence of heaven and hell. Maybe it is because I have been raised with the belief in mind and know no other theory beside it. It may also be because I have experienced the Jesus in my life, who lives in heaven and in my heart. Either one!
Another factor that got me to do some reading is because I witness to so many people who already know about Christ and are intellectuals and still refuse to believe in Christ and after life. People who believe in YOLO. It's a fun term.. but is it true was my initial question. For all you people out there wondering how to evangelize to our intellectual friends, here is my piece of advice.
Let's start from the roots. What are you initially going to say to them? John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. And whoever believes in Him shall have ever lasting life." God loved you and me, that is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and cleanse us. He expects us to live a holy life away from the things of the world and walking in the light. Those who walk close to the precepts that Jesus layed down when He was on earth, get to go to heaven. And who gets to go? God decides.
Now you may ask, what if my friends don't believe in what I say? Matt 28:19, "Go and teach the nations" That is all you have to do. It is your job to tell them the truth. The rest, God will take care. God will speak into their hearts at the right time and change their hearts. All you have to do is sow.
Grace is an important factor which determines our lives. We may walk, act and do all the things the Bible teaches us but finally when it is decision time, grace is the one that's gets to heaven. Thank God for it!

Coming from nowhere. Or is it?

When I was a teenager, I used to look at 21 or 23 year olds who were successful, independent, funny and beautiful, and think someday I wanted to be like them. I thought they were so happy with their friends, hanging out at the coolest scenes and being their best self. I thought growing up must be fun and everything in life comes easy when you have a job, an apartment and a car..... But maaan, was I wrong!  You know how they say life is not a bed of roses? That's so true. Getting older, only means life is going to throw more curve balls at you, responsibility is taken up to a whole new level and chores reduce down to nothing. As each day passes, things change, you meet new people, make new business connections, dream new dreams, demands increase and honestly, your just not the same 14 year old who can eat all the candy you want. Your whole body starts to react if you don't watch what you eat.  Life is so not easy when you don't have a motivation to do what you're doing. ...

That ray of light

I want to start by saying that my last blog post was kinda depressing. Although real, it was more on the sad side. I want to take this moment and shoutout to all those who supported me and told me how much you could relate, and also told me its ok, these things happen. It really means a lot to me that you are reading what I have to say and walking with me through this journey. I know that there is a long way to go and these are just pricks along the way but you just being there and encouraging me is worth much. I have a dream.... and I can see it in my head. It feels as though it's so close that I can touch it... but I know there are stops that I have to make, turns I have to take and unexpected things that are always gonna come my way. Success is nothing without failure. Happiness is nothing with sorrow. So yes, I'm willing to go on this journey and take you along with me on the roller coaster called life. I fully accept all that comes with moulding myself to be the best at...

Can one exist without the other?

Today's thought: In Undergrad, I had to take a class that debated between calling and vocation. I now ask YOU to think about that difference. Story time: I have a friend who is a doctor. During the day, she saves lives and helps people. She loves doing that and it also helps with her expenses (Vocation). When she comes home and closes her eyes, she asks God to take her to the secret places and hidden spaces (Isa 45:3). She believes that when she does this, God will reveal His plans for her life (Calling). Here's more to think about on that topic. The question is whether we should simply (a) Bring Him in the dedication of our work to Him, in the integrity, diligence and humility with which we do it or also (b) Make His professed and explicit service our job. The A vocation rests on all men whether they know it or not; the B vocation only on those who are specially called to it. Each vocation has its peculiar dangers and peculiar rewards -from letters to Sheldon Vanauke...
